Embark on a breathtaking train simulation experience along Romania’s most iconic railway corridor: the Bucharest North to Brasov route. This carefully crafted route brings to life the diverse landscapes, rich history, and great engineering of one of Eastern Europe’s most celebrated railways.
This route spans approximately 166 kilometers, starting in the bustling city of Bucharest (Gara de Nord), passing through the serene Wallachian plains, and ascending the stunning Carpathian Mountains to Brașov. It offers an authentic and visually detailed recreation of this celebrated railway journey.
Every area that you will find in this route was researched and photographed individually by members of our team and matches the exact length of the real world route, being built strictly following Google Maps and field collected data.
In order to have the complete experience without any missing assets (vegetation, scenery objects, etc.) you must download and install the required external assets. Click on the Route dependencies button above.
The payware pack of our route does not contain any freeware/payware content from any other publisher. We offer strictly our own content.
Along with the route you will get all the Romanian assets developed by our team for this project.

Installation
Step 1 – Run the “TM_Bucuresti_Brasov_X.X.exe” installer and follow the installation steps.
Step 2 – Download and install all the external assets specified in the dependencies list here.
Step 3 – Enjoy the ride!
– For a correct view of the Bucegi Mountains, set the “View Distance” to maximum in the game menu. (BUCEGI_MOUNTAINS.jpg)
– If the sky in the game is black and you do not want to purchase the “AP Sky & Weather Enhancement Pack 2.0” you can replace the files in the “Assets\RTS\Railworks\TimeOfDay\TM\” folder
