Manufactured from 1976 until 1991 at the “MEVA” factory in Romania, these Eastern-European freight cars were and still are used for transport of palletised goods, such as bottled water, cooking oil, beer, soda, etc. They are 14,02m in length (or 14,52m for the version with brake platform), sit on 1-axle bogeys, have a top speed of 100km/h and were exported to other countries also, such as Greece and possibly Germany.
