Czech Double Deckers Modern Pack

Step 1 – Run the utility “TM_Czech_DD_MODERN_PACK_vX_X_X.exe” and follow the installation steps.
Step 2 – Download and install the dependencies “TM_Czech_DD_Deps_vX_X_X.exe” once. (The dependency package does not need to be installed for each car. Only one installation is required.)

Bmto cars, originally marked with the Czechoslovak national designation Bap in the 1980s and 1990s marked Bmo, are a series of double-decker spacious second-class passenger cars from the rolling stock of the Czech Railways.

All these cars (101–150) were produced in 1976 by the Waggonbau Görlitz wagon company for the then Czechoslovak State Railways. After the division of Czechoslovakia, all cars went to Czech Railways. Most of the cars were modernized and rebranded after 2000.

In 2001, one car was upgraded to the Bmteeo 290 series. The subject of the modernization was the installation of a central energy source (CZE), repair of the toilet, reupholstering of the seats with a fabric cover, a new door closing mechanism, etc. Since 2008, some cars have had their seats reupholstered with a textile cover.

In 2009, three cars were repaired and rebranded as the Bmteeo 293 series. The extent of the modernization was similar to that of the Bmteeo 290 series car. In addition, the car doors, which are controlled by buttons on these cars, have been modified.

The water device on the toilet is also controlled by buttons. Between 2010 and 2011, all Bmteeo 290, Bmteeo 293, and 12 Bmto 292 cars were upgraded to the new Bdmteeo 294 series. In addition to the aforementioned, the interior of the cars was also completely renovated.

In February 2015, a contract notice was published, and in January 2016, a contract award notice for the modernization of 12 Bmto 292 series cars to the Bdmteeo 296 series, which will be used in Prague suburban transport together with control cars modified from the Bfhpvee 295 series.

The winner of the competition was the company Pars Nova Šumperk. For modernization, cars started arriving in Šumperk on March 10, 2016, and in 2017 they were put into regular service.

In order to use this asset on a route, you must first check “TM/RailWorks” in Scenario Editor and find the passenger cars in the list with the “TM” prefix and the control cars in the engines list also with the “TM” prefix.

All of the doors are animated on the exterior as well as in the interior. The wagons also feature manually switched on or off interior illumination. In order to turn the interior lighting on, the locomotive needs to have the “Headlights” control value with the “Apply to consist” option enabled.
