060 EA1 008

This is a repaint of the class 41 EA 008, build in 1966 by Allmänna Svenska Elektriska Aktiebolaget (ASEA) and delivered to Romania as the 8th piece of the 10 Swedish built batch. The locomotive belongs to Brașov depot, the depot with the largest park in Romania.
Until August 2019, it had over 7 million effective kilometers traveled .In August 2020 in Buda station, Prahova county, EA 008 unfortunately suffered a fire while towing the train IR 1636 Brașov-Bucharest North. The fire was located in the area of the compressor.
The locomotive came back in circulation this year, in 2023, completely restored and with new decorations and it has been brought back to life in the game as well in it’s whole glory due to popular demand.

060 EA1 122

This is a repaint of the class 41 EA 122, built in 1991 by Electroputere Craiova. The locomotive belongs to the Bucharest depot.
In order to do high speed testing for new passenger cars and also test high speed braking equipment up to 200 km/h, in the middle of the 1970’s locomotive 060-EA-122 was fitted with special bogies with changed gear ratio for high speed. It was renamed 060-EA2-122 and got the nickname “The General”. During testing on Floresti Prahova to Buda section it attained the 204 km/h speed record for the Romanian railways. Later on, the high speed bogies were transferred to locomotive 42-0302-2 and locomotive 060-EA-122 retrieved its initial configuration.

060 EA 564

This is a repaint of the class 41 EA 564, built in 1981 by Electroputere Craiova. The locomotive belongs to the Timișoara depot.
This locomotive was recently restored by RELOC Craiova after an 11 year absence with LED lights, a full blue interior and shiny red and white paint scheme.
This paint scheme represents the look of the locomotive as of 2023, proudly serving CFR Călători passenger trains.

060 EA1 735

This is a repaint of the class 41 EA 735, built in 1985 by Electroputere Craiova. The locomotive belongs to the Timișoara depot.
This locomotive is one of the last that still have the old number plates attached as well, all locomotives being classified with the UIC system in the present. The locomotive is nicknamed “Victoria”.

060 EA1 931

This is a repaint of the class 41 EA 931, built in 1966 by Allmänna Svenska Elektriska Aktiebolaget (ASEA). The locomotive belongs to the Arad depot and has a vast history on the Romanian railways.
This is the last locomotive of the first series of 10 locomotives delivered by ASEA Sweden (the previous 9 units are registered as 060-EA).
It was fitted with an experimental electric apparatus with mixed rectifier bridges (silicone diodes and thyristors) which allowed regenerative braking. It remained the only unit of this type as no other locomotives are built in this configuration.
It was assigned to Brasov depot.
In 1980, the locomotive is sent to Electroputere Craiova for a major overhaul.
Unfortunately it could not be repaired in the same technical configuration and by 1991 it is reconfigured as a Class 41 electric locomotive.
In 1990, after the accident suffered by the first Romanian electric locomotive delivered by ASEA in 1965 (unit 060-EA-001), it is initially intended to renumber this locomotive as the new first number of the series. Finally this unit returns to Brasov depot as unit 41-0931-1. Later it got signed up in the Softronic ICOL contract where it was modernized again with the newest systems and was later given to the Arad Depot.
