This is one of the most frequently used locomotives at CFR Călători and belongs to the Brașov depot. It was built in 1967 by Electroputere Craiova and later modernized by Softronic with the ICOL CSAM system. The current EA 014 was swapped with EA 073 and primarily serves Regio routes in the Brașov area, though it can still be seen on Inter-Regional passenger services from time to time.

The model aims to represent the locomotive as it appeared in 2023. As the locomotive is still in active service, its condition and appearance constantly change; we therefore decided to ‘freeze-frame’ its state for this TSC implementation. The vast majority of the material used for the in-game recreation comes directly from the original locomotive.

This represents the final period where it still sported its original accessories and emblems, while also featuring upgraded LED headlights and restored wheels.
