The Bautzen Z2 Modern Pack includes six cars operated by German private operator Alex, formerly known as Arriva Landerbahn Express. Three of the alex cars are of the ABvmz type, which was converted from the former Amz 210 express coaches purchased from DB. Four compartments were prepared for 1st and 2nd class, a multi-purpose room was set up, a disabled toilet and air conditioning were installed.

All the coaches derive from the original 19-80 and 21-80 series, built in Germany by DWA Bautzen, bought by CFR Calatori between 1992 and 1994, and modernized starting from 2011 by Atelierele CFR Grivita Bucharest, resulting in the 19-76 and 21-76 series coaches.
Contains all the 17 second class Y type cars operated by the Czech national operator, representing the modifications that the original car has gone through during its age : from the dark green original paint to a freshly, new paint scheme designed by a specialised studio(Najbrt), and from 10 original compartments to 9 compartments + bicycle section and even ex-couchette cars used as normal second class cars.
Manufactured at the VEB Waggonbau Bautzen Works in Germany between the mid '70s and the mid '80s, the cars originally featured 10 compartents with a total of 80 seats, Gorlitz V/Va bogeys capable of 140km/h speeds, being produced in a very large scale(+900 units in total).
